The Naples Players is expanding its educational programming with the launch of a new Full-Time Academy of Dramatic Arts, beginning in September. This arts-integrated academic program is designed for middle and early high school students passionate about theatre and seeking a more personalized educational experience. The new academy blends individualized academics with daily, preprofessional theatre training. Students will complete core studies through the Florida Virtual School platform, with daily in-person instruction, mentorship and academic planning provided by experienced faculty, program officials said. The program is led by Steven Caruso, an independent school administrator, in partnership with Jennifer Price, director of education at TNP. An information night for interested families will take place at 7:30 p.m. May 20 in the Glass Educational Theater at TNP, 701 Fifth Ave. S.
