Bank of America named United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties as its 2023 Neighborhood Champing in Southwest Florida for its work advancing economic mobility and building up underserved neighborhoods. Through the bank’s program, the nonprofit will participate in virtual leadership training delivered by experts in the nonprofit sector on topics such as human capital management, increasing financial sustainability and storytelling and receive a $50,000 grant over two years. United Way provides educational services, job training, mentoring and emergency resources for those in need.
