A company specializing in select service and extended stay hotel investing purchased the Inn of Naples at 4055 Tamiami Trail. Denver-based Mission Hill Hospitality acquired the 99-room hotel that was undergoing a brand changeover to Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Dallas-based MCR, the nation’s hotel owner-operator, purchased the 35-year-old hotel in 2020 for $12 million.
Mission Hill owns 18 hotels, all of which are Hilton and Marriott brands, across the country, including SpringHill Suites by Marriott on Navarre Beach and Home2 Suites by Hilton in Jacksonville.
The Inn of Naples is in the middle of a complete renovation of all guestrooms, the lobby, public and meeting spaces and its restaurant. The property offers a mix of guestrooms and suites, including many with accessibility features, an outdoor pool and a fitness center.
