Rush Bowls, a fast-casual restaurant chain known for fresh and health meals in a bowl, is continuing its national expansion to three new markets, including East Naples, early this year. The new location will be at 12450 Tamiami Trail E. in Price Street Plaza.
“People in Birmingham, Naples and New Orleans are wanting a healthy, on-the-go food option,” Rush Bowls Founder and CEO Andrew Pudalov said. “There is nothing like Rush Bowls in these cities, so we are thrilled to introduce these markets to a side of health and wellness that they haven’t seen or tasted before.”
Pudalov founded the restaurant in 2004 in Boulder, Colorado, after leaving New York’s financial scene to pursue his dream of creating a healthy, fast-casual eatery crafted from fruits and vegetables, topped with organic granola and honey. Rush Bowls has 35 restaurants open in 19 states, including one in West Palm Beach, with more than 100 more locations planned.
It offers patrons a wide selection of customizable bowls and smoothies. The various choices of fruit and vegetables can be blended with protein and vitamins. Its signature bowl is the Beach, which includes acai, banana, mango and guava juice with granola and honey toppers.
The franchise has seen a 99.2% three-year average sales growth. In 2020, Rush Bowls also earned a spot on Quick Service Restaurant magazine’s “40/40 List for 2021: America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals”, which recognized fast-casual concepts poised for growth.
