That NY Bagel Place opened Aug. 7 at 13487 Winchester Trail, Unit 150, in Winchester Center in the Golden Gate Estates area.
That NY Bagel Place launched Aug. 7 in Winchester Center off Immokalee Road in Golden Gate Estates.
The local family-owned business is operated by Derek Leverant, an Estates resident who grew up in New York and works as a full-time engineer for the North Collier Fire Department. The Leverant family also opened a satellite shop for That NY Bagel Place within Village Walk of Bonita Springs last summer after buying the established location on U.S. 41 in Bonita in August 2023.
The menu includes bagels, wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups and even pizza made on flat bagels called flagels. The shop also is available for catering.
Operating hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 13487 Winchester Trail, Unit 150, next to Sunshine Ace Hardware in the Orangetree area between Randall Boulevard and Oil Well Road.
